Chief Executive Officer
Michael is the leading force behind ShareForce, which he founded in 2015 and has subsequently grown into a truly global company.
Michael provides deep knowledge and value to the incentive plan industry through ongoing thought-leadership efforts. Before founding ShareForce, Michael managed a team that consulted on complex share plan structures and broad-based plans for Deloitte & Touché.
Michael also has over a decade of experience in the financial industry and has worked for top tier global banks trading derivatives and managing financial risks. Michael holds the following degrees: B Sc. Hons in Advanced Mathematics of Finance (WITS University); Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Mathematics (WITS University); as well as a Certificate in International Treasury Management (Association of Corporate Treasurers U.K.).
Chief Operating Officer
Christo was appointed as Chief Operating Officer in 2019 following a successful track record in leadership roles in ShareForce.
Christo has been with ShareForce since its inception in 2015, and he was instrumental in building and tailoring automated share plan tools using cutting edge technologies. Over these years, he has been instrumental in managing our global clients’ service delivery and developing our technology. Before joining ShareForce, Christo worked for Deloitte, where he built financial models and consulted on share plans.
Christo holds the following degrees: M Sc. Eng. in Electronic Engineering (Cum Laude) (Stellenbosch University); B Eng. in Electronic Engineering with Computer Science (Cum Laude) (Stellenbosch University); Level 1 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Head of Client Management
Kelly was appointed as Head of Client Management following a successful track record in her roles at ShareForce. In addition to her comprehensive knowledge of incentive plans, she also brings considerable experience from a technical accounting and IFRS perspective.
Kelly is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the University of Cape Town and has worked at Ernst & Young in South Africa and Guernsey and other top-tier consultancy firms. As the head of Client Management, Kelly has overall responsibility for our portfolio of existing clients. Kelly also holds the following degrees: Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting; PGDA (University of Cape Town); eligible to register as Chartered Accountant (CA SA).
Co-head of Business Development
Ushir has been instrumental in managing implementations for our global clients and previously held the position of Head of Migrations. Ushir is now Co-head of ShareForce’s Global Business Development team and has a comprehensive and far-reaching knowledge of the deferred compensation industry.
Ushir has over ten years of experience in banking and financial markets and has worked at top-tier global banks and numerous companies. Ushir holds the following degrees: Bachelor of Business Science & Honours in Finance (University of KZN); RE5 Regulatory Examination (RE5), and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
Head of Sales and Business Development
Adva was appointed as Head of Sales and Business Development for Europe and Asia in January 2021. She has over 20 years of experience in business development roles in the Financial Markets and has extensive experience distributing and managing financial products.
Adva has also served in leadership positions at various Asset Managers. Adva holds the following degrees: Honours in Economics (University of Cape Town); Bachelor of Commerce (WITS University) RE5 Regulatory Examination (RE5), and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
Head of Client Implementation
During his time within the Client Management team at ShareForce, Jason was instrumental in assisting with and managing implementations of some of our largest local and international clients.
He was appointed Head of Client Implementation in August 2022 and continues working on making the process of onboarding new clients more efficient and effective. Jason is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the University of Cape Town and has worked at Ernst & Young in South Africa as well as Cross Country Consulting in the USA.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (University of Cape Town), PGDA (University of Cape Town) and is eligible to register as a Chartered Accountant (CA SA).
