ShareForce is thrilled to announce our partnership with Grow ECD, an organisation dedicated to revolutionising Early Childhood Development (ECD) education. Through this partnership we aim to support two ECD centres, bringing much-needed resources and opportunities to young children in under-resourced communities.
The partnership will focus on funding ECD centres to access the GROW ECD Small Business Programme, providing them with essential resources to create sustainable learning environments. The financial support from ShareForce will also contribute to enabling these centres to implement a play-based daily curriculum, access the GROW classroom kit, receive advanced online and face-to-face training, and connect with professional education and business mentors.
Grow ECD is dedicated to supporting the people who are educating the next generation in providing quality early learning experiences. They currently reach 9000+ children daily across South Africa. This partnership will ensure that even more young minds have access to the quality foundation phase education they need to thrive.

GROW ECD was launched in 2014 as part of the Taking Care of Business Group. Grow ECD is challenging the narrative in the Early Childhood Development (ECD) sector by treating preschool owners as social entrepreneurs. It was created on the premise that providing quality education is only possible if we empower women to run sustainable preschools: to equip ECD centre owners with the skills, support and resources they need to provide 5-star early learning in every neighbourhood.
GROW ECD equips and connects ECD businesses with the technology, skills, support and resources they need to provide quality early learning, at scale, sustainably.
